Ignitors Rocketry is a student led organization at Texas A&M University, dedicated to hands on learning through mentorship, innovation, and the pursuit of excellence through competition at an international scale.
Our goal in Ignitors Rocketry is to inspire and prepare engineers who don’t just design solutions and fix problems, but engineers who define what’s possible. We are so much more than just students designing, building, flying, and maybe occasionally crashing rockets. We are a community committed to teaching, collaboration, problem solving, and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in rocketry. Whether you’re here to learn, contribute, or take your ideas and make them a reality, Ignitors Rocketry is where dreams take flight.
We competed in the International Rocket Engineering Competition for the very first time this year, entering the 10k COTS hybrid category with our 8.5 foot tall fiberglass rocket named FIRE IN THE HOLE, powered by a Contrail M711 motor.
